What to expect.
A speech-language pathologist assesses the patient’s needs and develops practical goals. Contact the office to confirm the appropriate setting and availability, including whether virtual visits are suitable for the referral.
The care plan and availability are assessed for each referral. Ask the office about required documentation and payment arrangements.
